Schwäbisch Hall
Schwäbisch Hall has been a festival city since 1925: The Freilichtspiele (open air theatre festival) on the large and more than 500 years old stairs of St. Michael’s church and at the Schwäbisch Hall Globe Theater inspire several thousand visitors every year. Moreover, Schwäbisch Hall is an art and museum city with numerous interesting museums of supra-regional significance.
Rothenburg ob der Tauber
With its widely preserved medieval old city centre, Rothenburg is a world-famous tourist attraction with many historical buildings and cultural assets. Its original appearance gives the old city centre its outstanding charm since there are hardly any stylistic clashes by modern buildings in the inner city. Rothenburg is well-known for several important museums such as the criminal museum, the Reichsstadmuseum, the craftsman’s house and Käthe Wohlfahrt’s Christmas museum. Rothenburg is likewise situated on the romantic street.
